Unfortunately, we just missed out once again in on www.slicethepie.com on the chance to win £15,000 to record an album.
With less than a week to go, we are currently leading on www.slicethepie.com and if we hold on until Thursday we will win £15,000 to record an album! So please if you haven't voted already this time around please visit the site and vote for us in the All Genres 6 showcase.
Unfortunately we have had to cancel our gig at the Water Rats on July 19th. We hope to rearrange this for later in the summer, so will keep you posted.
The line-up for our Waterfront headline gig on Thursday, August 7th has now been confirmed and we think it's the best one we've put together yet. Joining us on the bill will be The Lost Levels, who headlined the Arts Centre earlier this year with their unique Blur meets computer game music sound and who release their debut single on NROne Records on August 3rd, The Loyal Few, who play polished stadium-sized indie pop/rock (we saw them at B2 last week and thought they were absolutely awesome), and The Depot, an up-and-coming band who play punchy Jam-influenced pop songs. Tickets are now on sale priced £5 in advance from us, the box office on 01603 508050 or online here. Or it'll be £6 on the door. Hope to see you there!
We've been given another chance to win £15,000 to record an album on www.slicethepie.com so sorry to ask for votes again, but if you can spare a second please click on the link and vote for us in the All Genres 6 showcase. If you voted last time, you won't have to register again. We've also found out that, in this arena, Come Monday was the highest rated track on the whole site!
Unfortunately we finished third on slicethepie.com, so just missed out on the £15,000 prize. Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote for us.

Unfortunately, due to heavy rain being forecast, tomorrow's New Buckenham Festival, which we were due to play at, has been cancelled.
Photos from Wednesday night's gig at the Waterfront are now up on our Photos page. Thanks to Andy Slade for another great set of pics.
Following on from winning the One Night Only competition, we've had some more really encouraging news this week. Based on the reviews of more than 200 anonymous music fans on the website www.slicethepie.com we've made the final 18 out of around 1,000 bands. If we win the final - or 'showcase' as it's called on the site - we get £15,000 to record an album. This stage is done on a public vote (so sorry, more voting required!) so we'd be really grateful if you'd spare a minute to vote for us. To vote, go to www.slicethepie.com, register with the site and vote for us in the All Genres 5 showcase.
A big thank you to everyone who voted for us in the One Night Only competition. We've just found out that we won and will be supporting them at their sold out gig at the Waterfront in Norwich on Wednesday, May 14th!
We've been shortlisted by One Night Only in a competition for the chance to support them at their sold out gig at the Waterfront on May 14th. So please, if you could spare a second to click here and vote for us, we'd be very grateful! And please tell your friends to vote too!
Tickets are already on sale for our next Norwich gig, which is at the Arts Centre on Saturday, May 24th. They're £5 in advance from the box office on 01603 660352 or online here. Support for that one comes from Sheffield's The Chartists, who play 'uncompromising blues-laced rock 'n' roll', and excellent young Norwich band Halfway Hero, who really impressed all of us when they supported us at the Queen Charlotte a few months ago. Click on the link and listen to 'Field Trip'.
Photos from last Thursday's headline gig at the Waterfront are now up on our Photos page. Thanks to Andy Slade for another great set of pics.
At last our debut single 'My Time' is now available for download on iTunes as is 'B-side' 'Big Slick' - better late than never I guess...
Unfortunately due to a 'technical hitch' our debut single 'My Time' hasn't appeared on iTunes today as expected. Hopefully the problem will be sorted soon, and we'll let you know as soon as it is available, but in the meantime you can listen to it here.
Our gig at Club Indiependance at The Cell in Lincoln tonight (Wed, Feb 27th) has been cancelled due to safety concerns at the venue following last night's earthquake. We will hopefully be rescheduling the gig for a later date. Our tour resumes in Peterborough on Friday at The Park.
You'll be able to hear our new single 'My Time' for the first ever time when it is played on BBC Introducing... on BBC Radio Norfolk this evening (Friday, February 1st) between 7pm and 8pm. We will then be putting both 'My Time' and B-side 'Big Slick' up on our MySpace page tomorrow. The single is scheduled for release on All Sorted!?! Records on Monday, March 3rd and will be available on iTunes and other major download sites. For those who prefer a physical format, we will also be selling a limited edition signed CD at our gigs.
Tickets for our next big headline gig in Norwich, which is at the Waterfront on March 13 are now available from us, for £5 each. Please email us to let us know if you want any and we will make sure we get them to you! It's a Tilting Sky Promotions night and with EDP/ Evening News Next Big Thing winners The Kabeedies as main support and Rupert, and The Fens also on the bill it promises to be a great night.
A very positive review of Saturday's sell out gig at Norwich Arts Centre can be found at www.rocksellout.com (scroll down the page to find it). There are also pics from the night, taken by Andy Slade, now up on our photos page.
As we promised in our blog, we have some new video footage for you! It was shot at Norwich Arts Centre last September. The videos available are: Listen, Q & A, Shoulders and Miss Beautiful. Please click here to watch them.
We've agreed to team up with Norwich-based independent record label All Sorted!?! Records. We'll be back in the studio in early December to record our debut single, and the plan is to release it in February next year. The release will be backed by a week-long UK tour. We will also be playing regular gigs next year for All Sorted!?! at the Arts Centre and Waterfront, including support slots with signed bands, so watch this space for more details.

"..Even though they're unsigned that sounds as good as anything else I've played on the show tonight.." - Clint Boon, XFM Manchester & Inspiral Carpets
"..LOT 55, what can one say about how they have grown and matured over the last eighteen months. 2007 saw them really grow as a live act and they deserve all the plaudits they get. Having the balls to book a premier venue a week into the new year, the sell out crowd fully vindicated the decision...LOT 55 will be big news in 2008. In fact they already look ready for the bigger stage. With the right promotion I see them as the next big thing to come out of this fine city.." - www.rocksellout.com
"..LOT 55 give out a lot of energy, almost every song powered along tight melodic grooves with strong vocal harmonies, while the nimble bass work kept the back line interesting...they take their influences in a positive direction and really do drive along it.." - NO MUSIC
"..But it was LOT 55 who sparked the most enthusiastic reaction from tonight's crowd. During the last 12 months things have really started to pick up for this four-piece and they already have an impressive back catalogue of songs. Betraying any nerves they may have had from playing their biggest headline gig yet, they fired off a batch of punchy and very catchy indie tunes...If this is the first of many headline gigs for the band, long may that continue.." - Norwich Evening News, Going Out magazine
"..There is no doubting Will Overton's voice has that star quality needed to front a band.." - Kingsley Harris, NRONE Records
"..That set ranks up there with any of the bands I've seen play the Waterfront since it opened (in around '92 I think) and that's a lot!.."
"..Tonight was...well, I'm actually lost for words! Never before have I left the Waterfront so hyped up! You lot are actually AMAZING!.."
"..Just wanted to say your gig on Saturday was awesome, had never heard any of your stuff before, but am now a big fan.."
"..You are sounding fantastic! Can't believe I've only just discovered you... you are awesome!.."
"..Amazing last night! Really awesome.."
"..You lot were brilliant last night. It's been a while since I've seen a Meltdown Live gig so packed and everyone so enthusiastic! It was wicked!.."
"..It's so refreshing to find a band that out do their recorded songs (which were good anyway!) with their live performance! You were all amazing, was a really good gig and one of my favourites at the Waterfront of the past few years.."
